Everybody’s doing Pet Nat, but few do it as well! This is a simply lovely rendition of Riesling, true to its roots, but done another way. Not a hint of funk gets in the way of the wine’s dry and salty Mosel dialect. Now a blend of wines from 2020, 2022 and 2023.
Notes from the Producer: The wine matures slowly over months and years, though many casks never reach completion. Each July or August, the vintages are carefully blended and bottled, allowing the final fermentation to gently finish in the warmth of the bottle. This patient aging and the artful blending of multiple vintages give Piu Piu its flowing elegance and unmistakable character.
