This wine is a spice rack of nearly 100 tiny parcels of different soil types and exposures, showing great breadth of character and fine balance. In typical Weszeli fashion, the wine is fermented at warmer temperatures, making for a more savory, subtly nuanced wine with fruit that takes a back seat to other fragrant, enticing aromas found throughout Austria’s picturesque landscape.

Aromas of anise, dried grasses, and white pepper are framed by warm, bronzed minerality, and a strong mid-palate leads to a finish that showcases Indian spices, cardamom, and nutty notes of almond and hazelnut flour. Aged in stainless steel to preserve its freshness, this wine offers one of the greatest values in the world, combining sophistication and immediacy for an impressive, mineral-driven stunner.
