Tasting Flight - Week of 8/4/25
Hello!
We’re excited to share four special wines from across France with you in our tasting flight this week.
We start with a couple pours that are perfect for the heat wave we’re currently enduring: some refreshing bubbles in the form of a delightful rosé pet-nat of Gamay from Beaujolais, and a clean and satisfyingly mineral Chardonnay from the Jura. From there, we move on to a light expression of Pineau d’Aunis from a noteworthy producer in the Coteaux du Loir, a small appellation running along the Loir River (not to be confused with the Loire, which is about 20 miles to the south!), and then finish the flight with a stunning Pinot Noir from the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits appellation of Burgundy.
It’s $25 to taste through the four wines – stop by anytime!
Château de Javernand 2024 “Java” Pet Nat Rosé
Fumey-Chatelain 2022 Arbois Chardonnay
Domaine Gigou 2022 Coteaux du Loir Pineau d'Aunis
David Duband 2022 “Louis Auguste” Hautes-Côtes de Nuits
Cheers,
