Tissot 2023 Chardonnay 'Patchwork'

100% Chardonnay

Jura, France

The grapes are grown on a "patchwork" of terroir from clonal and massale seection vines:  a blend of 60% lias and trias clay, which is responsible for the wine's punching acidity, and 40% bajocien limestone in Tissot's estate. Barrel fermented on fine lees for 14 months and topped up to give a fresher, more Burgundian style to the Chardonnay.
