Tasting Flight - Week of 1/12/26

Happy New Year!

After a short break from tastings during the holiday season, we're excited to return with a flight of four excellent winter wines.

The first two pours are bright and crisp -- a stunning dry Riesling from the Rheinhessen in Germany, and a delightful, slightly spritzy rosé Txakolina from Spain. The two red wines in the flight are vibrant and festive yet reveal pleasant earthy and savory layers -- a pure and expressive Blaufränkisch from Austria, and a soulful, fuller-bodied blend of Carignan and Syrah from the Côtes Catalanes in southern France.
